Off Road Vehicles For Extreme Sports
A vehicle is something which helps carrying people or goods from one place to another. These are of many kinds like man drawn vehicles or machine drawn. The former kind is very rare to be seen nowadays, but the latter ones are the things which we get to see every day. With the passage of time these vehicles have changed their outlooks, styles or even their machines. The time has always helped in modifying their engines and increasing their speed or even their capacity of moving with equivalent amount of petrol.
Off road vehicle came into existence when the question arose that a car may not always run on the paved surface. These cars are specially designed so that they can run on both paved as well as unpaved roads. The tires are mostly looked after these are the soul for these kinds of cars. The tires are mostly larger than original tires or may be it can be considered that they are larger considering the size of the car. That is according to the car size they are bigger. They are mostly used for a different kind of purpose like desert safaris, or maybe even rock crawling, or in rallies or jungle safaris.
For the desert safaris the cars used are having tires with great grips, these tires are so designed so that they don't get drowned or even stuck while moving through the sand these cars are also not very light weighted as they have a tendency of turning upside down when there is a sand storm or when the car tries to climb a sand dune. The cars must have a great resistive engine so that heat in the desert does not damage the engine. The cars are mostly found in Dubai or South Africa when people go for a desert ride.
Rock crawling is also another kind of riding which requires off road vehicles. The rock crawling needs cars heavy enough to have a proper grip over the mountains and rocks. The vehicles must have large tires and must be capable enough to remain stable in real inclined plains. For rock crawling, the vehicles used must have all moving tires, i.e. four-wheel drive. For general cars the two tires are always working the tires at the back do not work and it just follows the front two tires. But in case of these kind of vehicles all four working tires are needed so that even if sometimes the front two tires are in air or slips the last two tires forces the car to be in its stable condition.
Lastly for jungle safaris the cars needed are the huge cars with a very light weight with very heavy tires and large according to the ratio of the cars. These tires help those overcome bushes and short shrubs to go ahead. These are helpful in jungle safaris only as in normal road these takes a lot of space to travel and due to its uneven structure the cars don't have a good mileage. These cars are only made for particular purposes thus making them costlier and making them irrelevant for normal uses.
