Vehicles are something which has turned out to be one of the most essential parts of us nowadays. We cannot think of our lives without having cars, motorcycles or buses around us. From poor to rich everyone needs vehicles for traveling. The cars used by us are very normal with every necessity built within them. These cars are mostly built for the general purpose, which is they can be used in our daily lives and can be drove on roads. The cars thus used cannot be effective enough when we think of something off the track.

Off road vehicles are among those vehicles which have a trend like this that they can be used for specific purposes. They do not have much to do with paved roads or even cemented tracks but when it comes to the mountainous terrain, sandy desert or the bushy jungles they are the only survivors. In these kinds of vehicles the tires are slightly larger than their bodies and have a spring kind of system to absorb any kind of jerks or shocks so that the driver is not harmed. The huge tires stop them from turning over. The cars are monstrous in nature and may result in severe accidents. Sand and rocks are the place where these cars rule. They have great grip over the rocks and their huge size stops them from skidding on the sand. Thus they fit their position for perfect entertainment.

Desert safaris is also the kind of ride which requires off road vehicles. The cars are built in such a manner that they can stand in any kind of mishaps or natural disaster. These cars are taken to the desert for tourists to experience the desert close up. These cars are heavy so that they don't fall from the sand dunes if there is a sandstorm. Their engines also consist of an automatic cooling system so that they do no heat up fast despite the high temperature in the desert. These cars are often seen going for rides in the sand and giving the view of the place which is impossible for them to see from normal vehicles.

Many other types of off road vehicles are built for specific purposes and really don't have a use in the normal life. The famous among them are the Golf carts, bulldozers or even the cranes these are only built for special purposes like going on a constant speed over the grass or even for carrying or moving heavy objects. These are found in different shapes and sizes performing different duties allotted for them.
